HWY 44 (St. James Parish) – A southbound lane closure will take place on HWY 44 in St. James Parish about 10’ North of Ory St. to 2200’ North of Hotard Rd.

Closure of the southbound lane will take place between 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily on the following dates:

Saturday, August 24, 2024 through Wednesday, August 28, 2024

Wednesday, September 18, 2024 through Saturday, September 21, 2024

The closures are necessary as Gulf South excavates near the travel lane, in order to remove an abandoned six inch pipeline.
