I-20: WIDENING/OVERLAY (WELL RD – LA 34)
OUACHITA PARISH
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) will conduct an open house public meeting for the I-20 Widening/Overlay Project from west of Well Road interchange to west of the I-20 interchange with Stella/Mill Street (LA 34) in West Monroe, Louisiana. The proposed project will add a new travel lane to I-20 in both directions with median barriers and shoulders. The new lanes will be located in the existing I-20 median. A 1,000-foot noise barrier with a 23-foot height is proposed at the Shadow Creek Apartments and Blanchard Street.
The purpose of this meeting is to provide information about the project improvements and to obtain input from interested parties. Representatives from DOTD and the consultant team will be available at the open house to answer questions and discuss issues related to the project. Oral and written comments on the project can be submitted at the meeting. Comments can also be mailed to the DOTD address shown below, postmarked by July 28, 2024. The public meeting has been scheduled as follows:
