Alternating lane closure: LA 27 at Ellender Bridge (MM 72) – Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that LA 27 at Ellender Bridge (Mile Marker 72) will have alternating lane closures from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. daily, starting Monday, July 8, 2024, through Friday, July 26, 2024.
The closure is necessary for crews to perform operator house work and bridge painting.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
