UPDATE: Cameron Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that LA 27 North of Kelso Bayou Bridge (Mile Post 68 to Mile Post 68.25) will have alternating lane closures from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Thursday, July 11, 2024.
The closures are necessary for DOTD maintenance crews to perform shoulder build up following resurfacing operations on LA 27.
Motorists should be prepared for possible delays.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
