The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning Wednesday, June 12, 2024, there will be ongoing construction along LA 840-1 (Smith Street) in Ouachita Parish from LA 34 to LA 3033. This construction work involves concrete patching, cleaning and resealing existing joints, and striping. The traveling public can expect daily alternating lane closures. Through traffic will be maintained at all times.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
