There will be intermittent and alternating lane closures on LA 1070 between LA 424 and LA 438 beginning Wednesday, June 12, 2024, weather permitting. The lane closures are to allow crews to remove and replace pipe across the highway, remove and replace the existing asphalt roadway, place temporary and/or permanent striping, rumble strips, and related work.
Lane closures are expected weekly, Monday through Sunday, between 7:00 AM until 6:00 PM.
Crews will start with removing and replacing pipe across the highway starting near the Junction of LA 424 and work towards LA 438.
Traffic will be maintained utilizing flaggers for the lane closures throughout the project.
