BRIDGE CLOSURE: I-220 westbound to I-49 northbound, Caddo Parish The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that on Thursday, June 13, 2024, the I-220 westbound on-ramp to I-49 northbound in Shreveport, Caddo Parish will be closed.
This closure is scheduled to take place from approximately 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and is necessary to allow for DOTD crews to perform bridge railing repair.
This bridge is located approximately 0.8 miles west of the US 71 (N. Market St) interchange. (see included map)
Restrictions/Permits: Total bridge/ramp closure at the specified location. All vehicles will need to utilize an alternate route.
Alternate Route: I-49 northbound can be access via I-220 to US 71 (N. Market St) to LA 3194 (MLK Drive) to I-49 northbound. Detour signage will be in place.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
