J-Turns at US 165 and LA 101 now open – Jefferson Davis Parish

Jefferson Davis Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that the J-Turns at the intersection of US 165 and LA 101 are now open.
These J-Turns will require LA 101 traffic at US 165 to make right turns only onto US 165 and then a U-turn at the median openings down the road. Making the U-turn allows traffic to then access the opposing direction of US 165 and either remain on US 165 or turn right onto LA 101.
The J-Turns are designed to safely and efficiently manage traffic.
Additional work continues on US 165 from the Allen Parish line to 0.85 miles north of Interstate 10 as part of SP H.013255.
