DOTD Announces Upcoming I-12 Closure for College Drive Flyover Project

Baton Rouge, La – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces an upcoming interstate closure associated with the College Drive Flyover project. This closure is necessary for bridge construction work. All construction activities are weather dependent and are subject to change.
I-12 Eastbound:
- Full closure from 10 p.m. Friday, June 7 to 5 a.m. Saturday, June 8.
Detour Information:
Traffic on I-10 eastbound wishing to take I-12 eastbound will continue on I-10 eastbound and take exit 160 (Essen Ln.), proceeding north (left turn) and continuing to the I-12 eastbound ramp.
We encourage motorists to familiarize themselves with the detour information prior to the closure to minimize any inconvenience.
