EMERGENCY I-55 Southbound at US 51 (S. Morrison) On-Ramp Closure and I-55 Southbound Alternating Left and Right Lane Closures, near Mile Point 28.1 -

There will be an EMERGENCY ramp closure at the I-55 Southbound on-ramp at US 51 (S. Morrison - Exit 28) in addition to I-55 Southbound alternating lane closures, left and right lanes, near Mile Point 28.1 from at 9AM to 7PM on Wednesday, June 5, 2024,
while DOTD Maintenance Crews perform concrete pavement repairs. One lane of I-55 SB will be open at all times.
Permit Information:
There are no restrictions for oversized loads.
Detour Information:
Motorist traveling US 51 (S. Morrison) south with a destination I-55 Southbound shall travel I-55 north to I-12 west (Exit 29B), then west to re-intersect I-55 south (Exit 38A).
