LANE SHIFTS: I-49 southbound at LA 511 (W. 70th Street), Caddo Parish The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, there will be a lane shift at the off-ramp to LA 511 (W. 70th Street) from I-49 southbound.
This is to allow for the removal and replacement of the catch basin at this location, and is related to an ongoing project to provide concrete panel repairs on LA 523 (Line Ave.) and LA 511 (W. 70th St).
This work is scheduled to take place for two days.
Traffic will be maintained at all times but motorists should use caution when exiting from this ramp, and be on the lookout for crews and equipment.
Restrictions/Permits: Vehicles 11 feet wide or smaller will be allowed to pass through the work zone. All larger vehicles will need to detour.
Alternate Route: N/A
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
