The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 through Friday, June 28, 2024 from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM each day, weather permitting, from milepost 85 to milepost 87, on I-49 (Northbound and Southbound) the left lane will be closed for routine bridge maintenance. The lane closure is located at the elevated portion of the interstate through Alexandria, LA., approximately from the US 167/I-49 interchange to North of the US 71/I-49 interchange.
Permit/Detour section
No detour will be needed as one lane will remain open at all times.
