***UPDATE***Closure: College St. from Kirkman St. to Louisiana Ave. – Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces the following closure on College Street from Kirkman Street to Louisiana Avenue on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, from 7 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
- Full Closure: College St. Eastbound between Kirkman St. and Louisiana Ave.
- I-210 EB (Exit 7) ramp. Right turn only onto College St.
The closure is necessary for crews to perform ongoing asphalt resurfacing operations.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
