Due to inclement weather, the work scheduled to be done on the bridge on I-49 Northbound; Ramp F-7; Exit 86 has been rescheduled for Friday, June 14, 2024 from 9:00am to 3:00pm, (weather permitting).

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, weather permitting, Bridge #084004550531537 on I-49 (Northbound) over I-49, US 71, AND RAMPS will be closed to all traffic for routine bridge inspections. The bridge is Ramp F-7 at Exit 86, that carries traffic from I-49 to US 71/165 Southbound (MacArthur Dr) and is located at the I-49 AND US 71/165 INTERCHANGE.
Permit/Detour section
The road will be closed to all traffic while the inspection is being performed by LA DOTD personnel. Traffic will be detour by continuing North on I-49 to exit 90/ LA 498 Westbound to LA 1 Southbound to US 71/165 (MacArthur Dr).
