INTERSTATE CLOSURE: I-20 in Calhoun, Ouachita Parish - SPN H.014052

***UPDATE***:On Friday, May 17, 2024, I-20, both Eastbound and Westbound, at mile marker 101 near the village of Calhoun in Ouachita Parish will be closed. I-20 traffic will be diverted around the work zone via the on and off ramps at EXIT 101.
During this closure, the ramps will be used for through traffic only and there will be no I-20 access to or from LA 151 at Exit 101.
The I-20 closure is scheduled to begin at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2024, and is anticipated to be re-opened by 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 19, 2024. This closure is necessary to finish removing all formwork over Spans 3 & 4 and complete the Type 3 Painting.
The LA 151 overpass will be closed to all traffic for the entirety of the project.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
Detour for LA 151 at Exit 101:
I-20 Eastbound traffic may exit at the Choudrant LA 145 Exit 93 and follow LA 145 to US 80 to access LA 151 South or follow LA 145 to access LA 151 North.
I-20 Westbound traffic may exit at the Calhoun US 80 Exit 103 to access LA 151 South or exit at the Choudrant LA 145 Exit 93 to access LA 151 North.
Detour signage will be posted.
