EXTENDED! I-10 WB Entrance & Exit Ramp at Exit 101 (LA 182 - University Ave), Lafayette Parish, Ramp Closure

UPDATE: Additionally, I-10 Westbound entrance ramp at Exit 101 (LA 182 - University Avenue) will remain closed on the following nights:
  • Tuesday, May 7 at 8:00 p.m. until Wednesday, May 8 at 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.



I-10 Westbound exit ramp at Exit 101 (LA 182 - University Avenue) will be closed on the following nights:

• Wednesday, May 1 at 8:00 p.m. until Thursday, May 2 at 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.

• Thursday, May 2 at 8:00 p.m. until Friday, May 3 at 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.

Additionally, I-10 Westbound entrance ramp at Exit 101 (LA 182 - University Avenue) will remain closed on the following nights:

• Wednesday, May 1 at 8:00 p.m. until Thursday, May 2 at 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.

• Sunday, May 5 at 8:00 p.m. until Monday, May 6 at 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.

The ramp closures are necessary to allow crews to perform milling and paving operations for the I-10 ramp.

Motorist traveling on I-10 WB will only be able to access LA 182 (University Avenue) via the posted detour route, which includes continuing westbound on I-10 to Exit 100 (US 167/LA 3184 - Ambassador Caffery Pkwy), turn south on US 167/LA 3184, then take I-10 eastbound to Exit 101 (LA 182 - University Avenue).

Motorist traveling on LA 182 (University Ave) will only be able to access I-10 WB via the posted detour route, which includes taking I-10 eastbound to Exit 103B (I-49/US 90 - Opelousas), continuing onto I-49 Exit 1B (I-10 West - Lake Charles), then take I-10 westbound to Exit 101 (LA 182 - University Ave).

Emergency vehicles will not have access to the entrance and exit ramp at Exit 101 (LA 182 - University Avenue).

Detour routes will be posted during the ramp closure periods.

There will be no vehicle width restrictions with this work.
