UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE:
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that the I-10 Westbound Perkins On-Ramp will have intermittent closures beginning on Monday, April 29, 2024 through Sunday, May 19, 2024. These intermittent closures will be daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
These intermittent closures shall be for 15 to 30 minute periods throughout the day.
During closure traffic will be detoured to I-10 Ramps @ South Acadian Thruway.
This closure is necessary to complete drainage structure repairs.
This closure is subject to change due to adverse weather conditions.
LA DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction area and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
