Alternating lane closure: LA 27 at Ellender Bridge (MM 72) – Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces there will be daily alternating lane closures on LA 27 at Ellender Bridge (Mile Marker 72) from 7:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., starting Monday, April 22, 2024, until Friday, April 26, 2024.
The closure is necessary for crews to perform ongoing bridge repairs. Flaggers will maintain traffic across Ellender Bridge in the northbound and southbound directions during these closures.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
