RESCHEDULED: Alternating lane closure: I-10 WB (MM 8 to MM 9): On ramp from LA 108 to I-10 WB to be closed – Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces there will be alternating lane closures along Interstate 10 Westbound from Mile Marker 8 to Mile Marker 9, starting 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2024, until 6 a.m. Thursday, April 4, 2024.
The closures are necessary for crews to install temporary striping and move traffic onto the north shoulder.
On-ramp closure:
The on-ramp from LA 108 to I-10 WB will be closed starting 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2024. The closure is expected to last for nine months.
Detour route:
Vehicles traveling on LA 108 wanting to get on I-10 WB should enter I-10 EB from LA 108 and travel east to Exit 20. Take Exit 20, turn left to go north, and follow signage to enter I-10 WB.
