***UPDATE***Lane closures: I-10 EB and WB – Calcasieu Parish

UPDATE: The I-10 Westbound closure has been canceled. The I-10 Eastbound work has been rescheduled.
Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces the following lane closures along a portion of Interstate 10.
I-10 Eastbound:
- Exit 7 to Exit 8 will have alternating lane closures from 7 p.m. Sunday, March 10, 2024, until 6 a.m. Monday, March 11, 2024.
- Exit 4 Off-Ramp and On-Ramp will be closed from 7 p.m. Sunday, March 10, 2024, until 6 a.m. Monday, March 11, 2024. The ramps will not be closed at the same time.
The closures are necessary for crews to perform temporary striping.
Detour information:
Traffic on I-10 EB wanting to take Exit 4 is advised to continue EB on I-10 and take Exit 7 (LA 3063) going North (left turn), turn left on US 90 going West, and turn left on US 90/LA 109 going South.
Traffic wanting to enter I-10 EB from US 90/LA 109 is advised to turn onto US 90 going East at the intersection of US 90/LA 109 @ LA 3112, turn right onto LA 3063 going South, and use the on-ramp enter I-10 EB.
