****NOW OPEN: LA 133 in Richland Parish****
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning on Friday, March, 1, 2024, LA 133 will be closed to thru traffic approximately 4.2 miles north of its intersection with US 80 in Richland Parish. This road closure is necessary to allow for the replacement of drainage culverts.
The LA 133 road closure is anticipated to last 1 week, and should be reopened Friday, March 8, 2024.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
DOTD reminds motorists to NEVER drive around ‘road closed’ barricades at any time for any reason.
Permit/Detour:
The detour route will be LA 133, US 425, and US 80.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
