I-49 Southbound under the I-10 Overpass, Lafayette Parish, Lane Closure

The inside lane of I-49 southbound, under the I-10 Overpass, will be closed on Sunday, February 18 from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., weather permitting.
This closure is necessary for crews to perform maintenance on the high mast light pole.
The road will be open to regular traffic with a 12-foot lane restriction on oversized loads passing through the work zone.
Emergency vehicles will have access through the construction zone but may encounter delays.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with extreme caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
