**LA 75 is now open to the traveling public**
State Project H.009484 LA 75 Bayou Breaux Bridge: This project is in Iberville Parish for a length of 0.205 miles. The type of work required is clearing and grubbing, removal of concrete bridge, grading, drainage structures, milling asphalt concrete, pavement patching, class II base course, lime treatment, asphalt concrete pavement, precast concrete piles, concrete slab span bridge, and related work.
DOTD announces that the LA 75 (Martin Luther King Jr Pkwy) temporary diversion road at Bayou Breaux will be closed to the traveling public beginning 7 AM Monday, February 12th, continuously through 3 PM Thursday, February 15th. During this time, no thru traffic will be able to travel LA 75 at Bayou Breaux. This closure is necessary for crews to install asphalt patching at the bridge structure approaches, mill the existing roadway, and lay the initial asphalt pavement structure on the project.
A signed detour will be in place in order to access LA 75 by traveling LA 74 to LA 30 to LA 3115.
