UPDATE: OPEN: I-10 EB from Rest Area (MM 2.5) to Exit 4 (MM 4) – Calcasieu Parish

UPDATE: This closure has been lifted and all lanes are open.
Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces the right lane of Interstate 10 Eastbound from the Rest Area (Mile Marker 2.5) to Exit 4 (Mile Marker 4) will be closed, starting at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 31, 2024.
The closures are necessary for emergency roadway maintenance. DOTD will issue a notice once the closure is lifted.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
