Continuous full roadway closure and detour along LA 308 is expected to be in place from 7:00 AM Monday February 5th, 2024 to 6:00 pm Saturday March 9th, 2024 for repairs to the Lafourche Crossing BNSF Railroad Bridge, in Lafourche Parish. The LA 308 road closure will be located at the Railroad overpass between Bartley Lane and Webster Road. The Roadway will be open to local traffic only and the traveling public should follow signs to detour to LA 1 via the bridges at LA 648 (Percy Brown Road) and LA 649 (St. Charles Bypass), during the scheduled closure.
