The left lane and left shoulder of the eastbound LA 24 Intracoastal Canal Twin Span Bridge, at the peak of the bridge within the limit of the channel, will be closed from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday January 30, 2024. The lane closure is necessary to allow the Department's consulting engineer to perform an inspection of the substructure of the eastbound span of the bridge. All eastbound traffic will to shifted to the right lane with intermittent short duration stoppages to reposition equipment used in performing the inspection.
