Lane closure: I-10 WB from MM 7 to Exit 8 (MM 8.5) – Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces the right lane of Interstate 10 Westbound from Mile Marker 7 to Exit 8 (Mile Marker 8.5) will be closed, starting 9 a.m. Tuesday, January 30, 2024, until 9 a.m. Thursday, February 1, 2024.
Alternate route:
Motorists can exit onto LA 27 at Exit 21 going north, then left on US 90 West, left on LA 3063 in Vinton and use the on-ramp to re-enter I-10 WB.
The closure is necessary for crews to perform shoulder reconstruction.
