***UPDATE***Toomey Rest Area on I-10 EB at Mile Marker 1 is OPEN - Calcasieu Parish
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that the Toomey Rest Area located on I-10 eastbound at Mile Marker 1 is open to motorists.
PREVIOUS ENTRY:
Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that, effective immediately, the rest area on Interstate 10 Eastbound at Mile Marker 1 near the Texas State Line is closed until further notice.
DOTD will notify the public once the rest area is reopened.
During freezing conditions, motorists should not drive unless absolutely necessary. Those who must drive should use caution to ensure everyone is safe.
