Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces an emergency right lane closure on Interstate 10 Westbound between the weigh station and Exit 7 is currently in effect. The closure is necessary for roadway maintenance.
Once crews finish work on I-10 Westbound, they will work on the right lane of I-10 Eastbound from the weigh station to Exit 7.
Closures will be isolated to the locations needing repair. Work will progress along the direction of travel.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
