Lane closures: US 165 NB & SB – Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that US 165 Northbound and Southbound will have single lane closures, starting Monday, January 8, 2024, until Thursday, January 11, 2024. Closures will be located on US 165 between the North and South I-10 frontage roads.
Closure schedule:
- US 165 Northbound: Right lane will be closed from 5 p.m. Jan. 8 until 8 a.m. Jan. 10.
- US 165 Southbound: Left lane will be closed from 5 p.m. Jan. 9 until 8 a.m. Jan. 11.
The closure is necessary for crews to set concrete girders for the new I-10 Westbound bridge.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
