Nightly lane closures: I-10 EB & WB from MP 43-47 and US 165 NB & SB – Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that Interstate 10 Eastbound and Westbound from Mile Post 43 to Mile Post 47 and US 165 Northbound and Southbound (under I-10 between the north and south I-10 Frontage roads) will have nightly lane closures, starting Monday, January 8, 2024, until Wednesday, January 10, 2024.
All closures will be from 7 p.m.-5 a.m.
Closure schedule:
Jan. 8-10
- I-10 Westbound: Right lane: MM 47 to Exit 44
- I-10 Eastbound: Left lane: MM 43 to MM 45
Jan. 8
- US 165 Northbound: Right lane
Jan. 9
- US 165 Southbound: Left lane
The closures are necessary for crews to set concrete girders for the new I-10 Westbound bridge.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
