Leeville, La. – Last month, the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development and the tolling program, GeauxPass, launched a new back-office toll system.

Final invoices have now gone out from the old back-office system. Due to the number of invoices, callers have been experiencing longer than normal wait times. The fastest and most convenient way to pay these notices is online at www.geauxpass.com. These notices can be paid by clicking on the “Pay my VI/VA” button on the homepage. Users will be redirected to an external page. Notices can be paid by inputting the invoice number from the top of the notice and following the site directions.

For drivers that receive an outstanding notice for tolls that are over 90 days old, please contact the Attorney General at collectionsinfo@ag.louisiana.gov or by phone at 225-326-6550 or 1-800-423-2129.

Drivers using toll roads after the change was implemented on November 20, 2023, will begin receiving the newly designed invoices. The new invoices can be paid by simply going to geauxpass.com and clicking the “Pay Toll Notices Here” button. Users will be redirected to an external page to input the invoice number and submit the payment.

Having a GeauxPass is the most convenient way to drive on LA 1 and guarantees the lowest available rate. To ensure the lowest available rate to travel on LA 1, motorists may open a GeauxPass account online at www.geauxpass.com or the Golden Meadow Customer Service Center, located at 1821 LA Hwy. 3235.
