UPDATE: This closure has been canceled.
Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces the Interstate 10 Westbound on-ramp/auxiliary lane from Exit 8 (LA 108) will be closed, starting at 6 p.m. Sunday, December 10, 2023, until 8 p.m. Monday, December 11, 2023.
During the duration of these closures, traffic traveling on LA 108 wanting to access I-10 Westbound is advised to take US 90 West and LA 3063 South to I-10 WB.
The closure is necessary for crews to perform shoulder reconstruction.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
