***UPDATE***ALL LANES OPEN:I-10 WB & EB near Exit 7 – Calcasieu Parish

UPDATE: All lanes are open.
Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that the right lane on Interstate 10 Westbound near Exit 7 (Mile Marker 7-8) will be closed, starting at 1 p.m. December 4, 2023.
Once work on I-10 Westbound is complete, crews will begin work on I-10 Eastbound near Exit 7.
The lane closures are necessary for roadway maintenance. No ramps will be affected by this work.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
