Nightly lane closures at I-10 EB & WB from Gum Gully Bridge (MM 6) to Exit 8 (LA 108) (MM 8) – Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that the left lane of Interstate 10 Eastbound and Westbound from Gum Gully Bridge (Mile Marker 6) to Exit 8 (LA 108) (Mile Marker 8) will have nightly closures, starting Monday, December 4, 2023, until Friday, December 8, 2023.
Schedule:
7 p.m.-6 a.m. Dec. 4, 5, 6, 7
8 p.m.-9 a.m. Dec. 8
The closure is necessary for work crews to perform soil work and move temporary concrete barriers.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
