UPDATE - ROAD CLOSURE: US 425 northbound near Hibbler St., Rayville, Richland Parish

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning on Thursday, December 7, 2023, US 425 northbound (N. Louisa Street) in the town of Rayville, Richland Parish will be closed.
This closure is located immediately north of W. Hibbler Street, and is necessary to allow DOTD crews to repair a pipe that is located under the roadway.
This closure is anticipated to be in place for approximately seven days.
Restrictions/Permits: Vehicles 10 feet or smaller will be allowed to pass through the work zone.
Alternate Route: Vehicles will be detoured west on Hibbler Street, and north on the southbound side of US 425 (Julie St), which will be converted to 2-way traffic for the purposes of the detour. (see included map)
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
