Traffic shift on LA 12, Friday, November 17, 2023 – Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces there will be a traffic shift along three of the bridges on LA 12, starting Friday, November 17, 2023.
The bridges opening to traffic are Washout Slough, Hursey Slough and Ashworth Slough. Work on Bridge 4 (Mud Lake) will continue until completed.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
