***UPDATE***Daily Lane Closures: US 165 Southbound – Jefferson Davis Parish

Jefferson Davis Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning Monday, November 13, 2023, there will be daily intermittent right and left lane closures on US 165 Southbound from the Allen Parish Line to approximately 0.85 miles north of Interstate 10.
Closures will be in effect from 6:30 a.m.-6 p.m. daily.
The lane closures are necessary for work crews to complete milling and asphalt paving work related to the ongoing US 165 @ LA 101 J-Turn Project.
There will be a 12-foot width restriction during the closures. All closures are weather dependent.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
