Alternating lane closures: I-10 EB & WB from Gum Gully Bridge (MM 6) to Exit 8 (LA 108) (MM 9) – Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that there will be nightly alternating lane closures along Interstate 10 East and West from Gum Gully Bridge (Mile Marker 6) to Exit 8 (LA 108) (Mile Marker 8), starting Thursday, Nov. 9, 2023, through Thursday, Nov. 16, 2023.
Closure Schedule:
- Nov. 9, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16: 7 p.m.-6 a.m.
- Nov. 10: 8 p.m.-9 a.m.
- Nov. 11: 8 p.m.-noon
The closure is necessary for work crews to perform ongoing construction in the median, along with shoulder repair work.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
