Temporary closure: I-10 East at MP 38, November 7, 2023 – Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that Interstate 10 East at Mile Post 38 will be closed intermittently for an estimated 15 minutes between the hours of 9 a.m.-10 a.m. on Tuesday, November 7, 2023.
The closure is a joint effort by DOTD and Louisiana State Police to perform a crash investigation.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
