UPDATE: The Cameron Ferry is now open.

CAMERON PARISH – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that the Cameron Ferry will be shut down for maintenance and repairs, starting at 7 a.m. Monday, November 13, 2023. The shutdown is expected to remain in place for a 12-hour period.
DOTD will issue an update once the ferry is back in service.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
