Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces an emergency closure of the right lane on LA 14 Southbound near the intersection with Oak Park Blvd., starting immediately until further notice.
The closure is necessary for crews to repair a damaged water line beneath the road.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
