INTERMITTENT ROAD CLOSURES: I-20 near LA 9, Bienville Parish
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that the following brief intermittent nighttime road closures for the I-20 bridge over Black Lake Creek in Bienville Parish have been scheduled:
- Tuesday, November 7th: I-20 eastbound intermittent closures beginning at midnight for approximately 15 minute intervals
- Wednesday, November 8th: I-20 westbound intermittent closures beginning at midnight for approximately 15 minute intervals
These closures are necessary to allow for load testing of this bridge in each direction. These bridges are located just west of the LA 9 interchange near Arcadia. (see included map)
Restrictions/Permits: Total road closures at the specified location. All vehicles will need to utilize an alternate route.
Alternate Route: Detour signage will be in place.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
