Alternating lane closure: LA 27 NB and SB at Kelso Bridge (MM 67) Oct. 30-Nov. 3, 2023 – Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that LA 27 Northbound and Southbound at Kelso Bridge (Mile Marker 67) will have alternating lane closures from 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m. daily, from Monday, Oct. 30, 2023, until Friday, Nov. 3, 2023.
The closures are necessary for crews to replace grid decking.
During these closures, traffic in the northbound and southbound directions will be maintained across Kelso Bridge with flaggers.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
