Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that, effective immediately, there is an emergency closure on both lanes of Interstate 10 Eastbound from the weigh station to LA 109.
The closures are necessary because of a traffic accident that resulted in an overturned vehicle.
Safety reminder:
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
