*NOW OPEN* RIVER CLOSURE: Boeuf River @ LA 15 Bridge, Richland Parish

UPDATE 11/6/2023: The Boeuf River at the LA 15 Boeuf River Bridge is now open to boating traffic.
Effective immediately, The Boeuf River at the LA 15 Boeuf River Bridge located approximately 2 miles west of Alto, LA will be closed to all boating traffic for work related to the LA 15 Boeuf River Bridge project. The river closure duration is estimated to be 7 days. This notice will be updated once the river is open to boating traffic.
Restrictions: The waterway in the described area will be closed to all traffic.
Detour: A detour is not available.

LADOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
