UPDATE - REOPENED - LA 132 Bridge Replacements Project in Richland Parish

(UPDATE 2/10/2025) - DOTD advises motorists that the replacements of all five bridges along LA 132 included in this project are complete and all bridges are now OPEN to traffic. We appreciate the public's patience while this work was underway.
The locations along LA 132 are: Muddy Bayou, Horse Bayou, Kelly Bayou, Caney Bayou, and Little Creek.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning Wednesday, October 25, 2023, there will be ongoing construction at five bridge sites along LA 132 from the bridge over Muddy Bayou approx. 0.3 miles east of LA 135 to the bridge over Little Creek approx. 0.9 miles west of LA 576 in Mangham, all in Richland Parish.
This construction work is necessary to prepare for the replacements of five bridge sites along LA 132. Thru traffic will be maintained at this time. Road closures will be necessary at a later date upon which this notice will be updated.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
