UPDATE: THIS CLOSURE HAS BEEN CANCELED.
LA 82 at the Perry Bridge over the Vermilion River will be closed nightly from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. beginning Monday, October 23 until Monday, October 30, 2023, weather permitting.
This closure is necessary to accommodate scheduled marine traffic due to the bridge experiencing mechanical issues.
Emergency vehicles will not have access to the area.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
