Daily Closures: LA 101 @ US 165 – Jefferson Davis Parish
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises motorists that beginning Monday, October 16, 2023, there will be daily intermittent closures of LA 101 at US 165. This will incude both the east and west LA 101 approaches at US 165; however, only one approach will be allowed to close at a time.
LA 101 closures at US 165 will begin at 8:00 AM and end at 3:00 PM.
The daily intermittent closures are necessary for work crews to complete construction on LA 101 related to the ongoing US 165 @ LA 101 J-Turn Project.
All closures are weather dependent.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please dirve with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment. Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
