The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that Bridge #008-30-0255-1 on US 71 over LA 1208-3 (Jackson St) will be reduced to one lane beginning October 4, 2023 at 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The bridge is in Rapides Parish on US 71 over LA 1208-3 (Jackson St) and is located at milepost 67.85. **The closure is to repair accident damage to the concrete barrier rail on the bridge.**

No detour needed as one lane will remain open at all times.
